Our founder and Sea-E-O, Errin Todd, won the Innovator of the year Award at the Business Women Scotland and Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards held in Glasgow on 2nd November 2018.

There was tough competition from our friends:

Alex Feechan, Findra Clothing (fabulous active wear for ladies based in Innerleithen, Scottish Borders and a shop in Edinburgh) and fellow Scottish edge winner and E-Spark alumni

Kirsty Lunn, Molke (beautiful and functional underwear for breastfeeding ladies and more)

Jane McDonald from Excel Vending

Amanda Pickford from Shock Innovations

We were hosted on the Fife Council Economic Department table by Pamela Stephenson and joined by Jen from WES, Julija, Dawn, Val, Wendy and Shirley friends from the Women’s Enterprise Scotland leadership course in Fife and Maggie from Napier University.

Pamela was also a finalist in the change catalyst category and deserves a mention as a keen supporter of Fife business and a lady who makes things happen.

It was a great night with music, magic, great food, a keynote speech by Professor Heather McGregor (better known as TV’s Mrs Moneypenny) and a disco and all topped off by winning!

Our thanks go to the organisers, judges, entertainment and staff of the Grand Central Hotel for a great night.

That’s another award to add to our haul so far:

  • Fishing News Technical Innovation Award
  • Scottish Edge Award
  • Vision in Business for the Environment of Scotland (VIBES) Award
  • Fife Business Awards
  • Scottish Chamber Award
  • Two Great British Entrepreneur Awards

and a finalist in British Chamber Awards and Courier Awards.

It was a great way to celebrate another successful year.
