Meeting Global Demand for Shellfish Systems
At Todd Fish Tech, our workshop is busier than ever. We’re currently building systems for customers at home and overseas. Recent export orders include an Oyster Pod stacking bivalve purification system heading to Canada and a Crab Pod holding system with a large bivalve purification tank bound for the Faroe Islands. This international demand shows how trusted our award-winning shellfish systems have become.
Grant Funding Driving UK Orders
Closer to home, many fishermen, fish merchants and fishmongers are taking advantage of available grant funding to invest in shellfish systems. Cornwall and Wales have already seen successful funding awards, leading to a surge in orders. In Scotland and England, applicants to the Marine Fund and the Fisheries and Seafood Scheme (FaSS) are awaiting results. We know many of you applied during this year’s short application window, and we expect to see another wave of orders very soon.
Preparing for a Busy Winter
With so many projects in progress, we’re heading into an unusually busy winter. To keep things fair, we’re now working strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’ve been considering one of our systems, securing your place early is essential. Once your deposit is in, you’re next in line.
