“The Lobster Pod system has reduced the time we spent maintaining and cleaning the tanks and has allowed us to stock more lobster in the floor space we have available. The built-in filters, protein skimmer, UV and biological filter system work efficiently and reliably to keep the water in good condition and have allowed us to cut down on water changes.”

Prices for our Lobster Pod shellfish storage systems start at £12,000 + VAT or relevant taxes + delivery by pallet courier / shipping costs. Prices in pounds sterling.
The Lobster Pod system has our unique filter with Mechanical, Biological and Chemical filters, Ultraviolet Steriliser and Protein Skimmer. All new filters take time to mature. The good bacteria on the moving bed bio-filter take on average six weeks to multiply and grow. Once your Lobster Pod system is mature we recommend changing 20% of the water every 4-6 weeks.
The state-of-the-art Lobster Pod system can hold multi-species at one time including lobster, crab species and langoustine.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Daily – check your stock, water flow and temperature.
- Weekly – do a water test to check ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH and salinity.
- Every 4-6 weeks – do a 20% water change.
- Every 3-6 months – change the wooden air diffuser in the protein skimmer
- Every year – change the UV bulb
All of our shellfish systems have a one year manufacturer’s warranty.
All of our systems use single phase electrics. They are all energy efficient, use quality materials which are safe for shellfish and all electrics are IP rated. Each Lobster Pod storage system requires a waterproof double socket and the seawater chiller included requires a commando style socket.
“The introduction of the Lobster Pod system to The Fish Market has been one of our best decisions we have made. It has reduced mortality rates and helped us build and sustain a thriving lobster business. Thank you Todd Fish Tech for your expertise, support and guidance.”
