Marek, Errin & Laura celebrate launch of Lobster Hatchery
We celebrated in our usual Team Todd tradition of tea and cake but these were no ordinary cakes as in honour of the national day of celebration Laura has baked lobster shaped (gluten free) cookies!
Our new lobster hatchery will help to hatch baby lobsters on land for release back to the sea in the area they came from. By rearing the juveniles in our hatchery technology there is a much higher rate of survival and we can ensure the baby lobsters have a best diet and are environmentally fit giving them the best chances. By operating the hatchery we are improving our technology and techniques and it helps us to give better advice to our hatchery customers too. Helping to create sustainable fisheries, innovation and providing excellent customer service is at the core of our business.
