Fish Tech Engineer

We are an award-winning manufacturer of fish tech. We are inventors of the patent-pending Lobster Pod and experts in shellfish storage technology. We install systems all over the UK. Innovation and sustainability are our core values and we are a small, professional team.
The role will include working in a small team and independently to manufacture fish tech including:
- Plastic welding
- Joinery (building wooden frames)
- Plumbing pipework
- Cutting parts (using panel saw and CNC machine)
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Manufacturing filtration components
- Installation on site in the UK
- Manual handling
- Also: Stock taking and cleaning
- In-house training provided
3 month trial period then permanent position (part-time work will be considered)
- Qualified to HND or Degree level in engineering or similar discipline i.e. science AND /OR Experience in construction, plumbing, joinery, manufacturing or public aquaria aquarist.
- Trustworthy, reliable, team player who is solution orientated and works smart under pressure.
Production managers and directors in manufacturing
Full time (with part-time or flexible working considered)
40 hours week (9am – 5pm) and occasional overtime whilst on installation on TOIL
Dalgety Bay, Fife with some travel in the UK required for installations
Permanent
£18-20K starting salary depending on experience
